Sandra Bullock Breaks Barriers Through "The Blind Side" Flick

Sandra Bullock has made movie history to become the first female actor to drive a movie above the $200million mark.
Bullock, who was recently named the top-earning actress in Hollywood in 2009, has with The Blind Side eclipsed her peers who are top-earning actresses such as Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie and Reese Witherspoon.

The baseball themed movie is gobbling up box office in the US with its weekend receipts totalling $208.5million. By comparison, veteran movie star Meryl Streep's The Devil Wears Prada earned $124.7million.

Warner Bros. President of Domestic Distribution Dan Fellman said: 'And we’re not even done. I think The Blind Side has another $30million left.'

Bullock has also earned an Oscar nomination for her role in the film.
