Jordan Berliant talks Why He Became a Manager: Building Platforms for Artists



As an artist, people will come along from all sides of the business to tell you how they will fight for you. That wasn't always the case, especially in the "good ol' days." According to Jordan Berliant who worked for the record labels and currently manages outfits like Linkin Park and Counting Crows, the labels refused to diversify their approach of marketing dissimilar artists. Could you imagine marketing Linkin Park the same way one would market Counting Crows? Jordan Berliant couldn't either, and he recounts how this inspired him to leap to the artist side and fight for them!
