Two-time Academy-Award winning actress Hilary Swank, most famous of 'Boys Don't Cry' (1999) fame, will be honored on Oct. 26, 2009 at the 13th Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The award show is presented by the Starz cable network.
Swank can soon be seen starring in the Amelia Earhart biopic, "Amelia" due for release soon. She also has some other upcoming projects slated for release later on this year and 2010, "Betty Ann Waters" and "The Resident". Swank also launched her own production company, 2S Films, last year with producer Molly Smith. She is the third youngest woman to have won two Academy Awards, and has appeared in over 35 films.
