Neil Jacobson talks "How-to A&R" Pop Music: Cross your Artist Over and Tell a Story!
Neil Jacobson has made quite a mark for himself over at Interscope Records, working the label side of breaking Artists. Neil works with huge acts that he helped to cross over into the pop world, and that has been a solid method in the madness of trying to achieve success in the Music Business. Working with acts like Black Eyed Peas and LMFAO, Neil worked very hard to transcend their sound into something larger than a hip-hop act or an electro outfit. In this Renman Live! Highlight, Neil reflects on the nature of A&R, and more specifically, how to develop artists in the Pop Music world.
